What to do when you are absent

  • Student absence must be verified within 24 hours of absence

  • 11 or more absences per semester requires passing the final exam to demonstrate course mastery in order to earn credit.

  • Contact Mrs. Rodriguez at Student Services to verify absences

  • The following will be accepted as excused absences:

    • Illness

    • Death of relative

    • Religious Holiday

    • Circumstances preventing attendance, but beyond the control of the student

  • Email teachers through SIS to notify them of your absences and to receive any make-up work!

TARDY POLICY

  • There is no difference between excused and unexcused tardies.

  • Tardies will be calculated by SEMESTER and will not accrue between semesters.

  • Student will not be penalized the first three days of the school year.

PROTOCOL & CONSEQUENCES BREAKDOWN

  1. Tardy #1 through #5- tardies recorded- no consequence.

  2. Tardy #6- Wednesday after school detention/ parent contact via phone. (unserved detention will automatically result in a Saturday detention)

  3. Tardy #7 through #9- Saturday detention (unserved detention will result in a double Saturday detention)

  4. Tardy #10- Behavior Contract and In-person parent conference

  5. Tardy #11- Discipline Referral and In-person parent conference

b. Loss of Honor Society Memberships

TO APPLY

The FY21 Free and Reduced online application process is now available for parents.

To assist parents in locating the online application this year, a tile has been added to the student portal that will take parents directly to the application for free and reduced-price meals (entitled Application For Meal Benefits) or they can still access the application through our School Food Service webpage here.

Additionally, paper applications are in process of being delivered to the schools' Administration for parents who would prefer to complete a hard copy.
