Confidentiality Statement for Caring First Reports
Information about a student's mental health diagnosis or treatment is extremely sensitive personal information. Pursuant to FERPA and Fla. Stat. § 1002.221, student records are confidential and exempt from the Public Records Act. That is, personally identifiable information contained therein, is confidential and exempt from Florida's Public Records Statutes. Any entity receiving personally identifiable information pursuant to a study, audit, evaluation or enforcement/compliance activity, shall comply with all FERPA regulations.
