Working papers serve as an official employment certificate that businesses use to ensure you're not working too many hours for your age. Anyone seeking employment under the age of 18 needs to have working papers in order to work. Students can get working papers for ages 14-15, but then must complete a new application, once they turn 16. Click on the following buttons below to access the paperwork that is required prior to receiving your working papers. Both sides must be completely filled out, including evidence of a current (within the past year) physical examination by your doctor. If you submitted a physical examination with the High School, you may ask the School Nurse to fill out the Physical Fitness Certification, rather than submitting it to your doctors office. Please turn in completed paperwork to the Counseling Office secretary, who will work to provide you with your workers permit, approximately 24 hours after the paperwork is received.
