Jason Kinner is a 2000 PHS graduate, he has been employed at Paintsville Independent since 2006.  Mr Kinner attended Paintsville Independent from kindergarten through graduation in 2000.  Mr Kinner's wife Dawn is also a member of the faculty at PHS where she also coaches volleyball.  The Kinner's have 3 kids and all attend Paintsville Independent Schools.  

Mr Kinner played football and baseball at PHS (He is the current HR record leader with 15).  He attended Georgetown College after high school where he played football for 4 seasons, participating on 2 NAIA national championship teams and a runner-up.  Mr Kinner spent about 10 years on the sidelines at PHS before hanging up the whistle to focus on his family.  Mr Kinner likes to enjoy the outdoors with his family on the lake or fishing.

Jason Kinner graduated from Georgetown College in 2004 with a degree in Information Systems.  He also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Morehead State University, and a Rank 1 in Education Technology.
