Many teens want to get in shape. Many see their favorite stars on Instagram and think, “I wish I looked like that…” Luckily, many teens start to workout after seeing these pictures. But sadly, their bodies are all they think about. I know…
It’s something you can’t just quit doing. Before you go anywhere, “I must do some sort of exercise,” you think to yourself. Or else you worry that someone might think you’re not strong or big.
Mistakes happen when you look in the mirror you get impatient, so you start doing more and more. Before you know it, you keep tweaking your shoulders more and more due to bad form.
Less is better, but this does not mean that you should do a half-job workout. This means you don’t need to workout for 2 to 3 hours at a time, like I did. Forty-five to sixty minutes is enough.
Running short on time? Need a chest workout? Get a timer, 30 seconds on bench press, 30 seconds off. Ten sets of ten for ten minutes will fry your chest. The problem is you become too afraid to change anything because you think you will lose gains.
Push yourself to do something new, live your life, don’t become overtaken, and be happy.
