I had a rough year when I was four and this is my childhood story.
When I was four years old, I became a house fire survivor. This is how it went down:
I was up in my room playing with legos. Then all of a sudden my mom yelled, “Josh, get downstairs and out of the house now!’’ I didn’t ask any questions. I knew something was wrong, ‘cause my mom would never yell to get out of the house. So I went downstairs and, of course, got out of the house. As soon as I got out of the house, I looked over to the garage where I saw big flames.
So now that I’m 16 years old, I’m a firefighter. I know what it is like to lose a house to a fire, and I also love to help people.
