Tahiti
Monday January 9th
Visit Pape’ete.
Tuesday January 10th
Va’a paddling, Tahitian language class. Lecture, i'a ota class, lagoon beach day.
Wednesday January 11
Circle island south, Grottos, Vaipahi Gardens, Vaima, Teahupo’o Olympic wave
Thursday January 12
Circle island north. Point Venus, three waterfalls, blowhole. Tahraa. Lecture for Fare Hape.
Friday January 13
Travel to Fare Hape.
Fare Hape
Friday January 13-Tues January 17
Both groups are in Fare Hape together. Activities will include: hiking, cleaning, gardening, eating, cooking, singing, traditional medicine activities and learning from Tahitian teachers.
Mo’orea
Tues January 17
Take ferry from Tahiti to Mo’orea. Get settled in at Fare Paorea (lodging).
Activities from January 17-20 on Mo’orea may include the following and will be scheduled according to availability, except Thursday which is set. All activities will depend on weather:
Visit of Fare Natura museum followed by hike to Belvedere and visit of archeological sites.
Hike and snorkeling at Temae beach.
Visit of Aunty Pua
Coral Garden activity
Middle school visit with Maire and then hike to Afareaitu waterfalls.
Food adventure tour.
Motu lagoon excursion stingrays and barbeque. (Thursday January 19)
Evenings Hironui will offer a presentation on topics concerning migrations, Polynesian language evolution, sustainability themes behind the Vaa and Rahui, the marae temple sites, calendar functioning tool of ancestral Polynesian life.
Saturday January 21
Pack up to take ferry to Tahiti and then plane to U.S.

Monday January 9th
Take ferry from Tahiti to Mo’orea. Get settled in at Fare Paorea (lodging).
