Technologists have rightly dubbed AI as one of the most disruptive agents of the 21st century so far: it is changing how we navigate our work, our learning, and our free time. AI is embedded into the tools we use daily in both visible and invisible ways. The media presents discourse about AI that is both reactionary and prophetic, true and false, helpful and hurtful. AI is here to stay, is rife with ethical issues, and is also sometimes pretty neat and helpful. Finally, despite how it’s discussed, AI is not a monolith, rather it’s a field of study with many different forms and functions. Cognitive Psychologists can be thought-leaders in helping folks navigate this complex and disruptive situation and that’s the purpose of this website, brought to you by undergraduate students who spent a semester learning about cognitive psychology and the differences between human and computational intelligence. We hope you find what we share here informative and useful!
