Community Service

Community service is the spirit of giving back to your own community. It is sharing your goods with others and not wanting anything in return. In service learning this year, we learned about what a community is. A community is a place where people are connected by common interests and ideas. We contributed to our local community this year when we donated food to the food drive. Every one of those pieces of food helped a person who couldn't afford food to not be hungry. This year was an awesome one because we served so many people in our community. The heart is a symbol of a community that accepts all personalities and doesn't discriminate. It represents the people of our community and how we are accepting of all different kinds of people.
