Subtropical plants thrive in warm climates and include a variety of flowers, fruits, and trees like citrus, mangos, bird of paradise, hibiscus, palms, bromeliads, and canna lilies. fruits like citrus, mangoes, and avocados, vegetables such as taro, yams, malabar spinach, and roselle, and various herbs and nuts like macadamia
Subtropical weather can vary but on average in the summer it is hot, humid and mild cold winters. Summers on average are long, hot, and humid with monthly average temperatures ranging from 81f to 100F yet intense brief thunderstorms are normal. Why is it so humid in subtropical environments, well it is very hot and the sun's radiation is very exposed, so the sun evaporates water into the air and increases the humidity to 40% - 90%. NOT very cold winters mostly around 45.5F - 60.8F

There are four types of frangipanis available, with the most common being Plumeria rubra. It is usually seen in white with a yellow centre, but are also available in many hues of pink, orange and yellow.
Frangipani flowers come in a wide range of colours from yellow, red, pink and mauve, as well as white, plus many spectacular bi-colours. Large blooms are borne on fleshy, succulent stems in summer and autumn. Plumeria is harmful to humans and pets if eaten, and the sap is a skin and eye irritant.
The large, trumpet-shaped flowers of a hibiscus have five or more petals, and come in a range of colors, including white, pink, orange, red, yellow, purple, and multi-hued patterns. Hibiscus blossoms open wide, inviting pollinators from bees to hummingbirds to reach in for a deep drink of nectar. As they do, they inevitably make contact with the flower's prominent stamen and pistil, aiding in the plant's pollination.
