LC (Learning Coach) and me sessions are weekly Tier 1 Speech and Language Support sessions aimed at helping LCs learn speech and language strategies, instructional methods, and activities they can use to support speech and language skills in the home learning environment. One portion of the session showcases an instructional activity with an SLP or SLPA. We encourage students to join their LCs for this portion of the session to participate in live practice guided by the SLP/SLPA and facilitated by the LC. The other portion of the session will describe the therapy techniques used and how they can be implemented by the LC in the homeschool environment.
