Description of Speech Concerns
Speech Sounds
Speech sound errors are observed as difficulty with pronunciation of speech sounds when speaking.
Language
Language refers to difficulty with understanding and/or expressing spoken language. Students may have difficulty expressing their thoughts or ideas and/or understanding directions.
Fluency
Fluency refers to the flow of speaking and is also known as Stuttering. Does your student have difficulty with repetition of sounds, syllables, words and phrases?
