Families: Welcome To Pacifica, Pack 256!
PACIFICA PACK 256 welcomes kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade; predominantly from Ocean Shore School, Sunset Ridge Elementary, and our surrounding area. Our mission is to get outside and play in a structured way, while showcasing life skills along the way. Our goal is to provide a positive atmosphere that builds scouts social and emotional IQ, and improve our community. Dens are organized by grade levels; grades with less than 3 scouts are integrated w/ larger established dens.

Meeting Logistics
Den Meetings and Den leaders are organized by school grade, and balanced as needed. Their den meeting day, time, and cadence vary (1-2x’s Monthly); with an eye towards having den meetings overlap to increase cohesion and intra-family bonds. When overlap occurs; we meet as a pack to execute opening ceremonies (Flag pledge, and Scout Oath/Law); then breakout into individual den agendas, separately.
Pack Meetings are designed to amass all dens together for fun events and activities to further unite families and teamwork. Scouts are expected to wear Class A uniforms to Den and Pack functions.

1.) Complete the Den leader Training (Register, then <2hrs online)
2.) Complete the Youth Protection Training (YPT - <1Hr)
3.) Work towards required rank Adventures and Electives
