The Pacifica Winter Art Gallery is a joint venture between our Visual Art teachers and a small group of student curators.
The team begins meeting weekly in the beginning of the year, coming up with a theme and working every step of the process all the way to load out when the show is done.Â
Students get hands-on experience on what it is like to run a professional level art show and get experience in:
marketing/publicity
graphic design
jurying and curating a show
art handling and installation
mounting/labeling
