Grades & Assessments

Students will be assessed in the following areas:

• Online Class Participation

• In-Class Tasks

• At-home labs

• Knowledge Checkpoints

• Final Tasks

• Mastery Checks

I use a point-based system for student grades and therefore no particular category is weighted any differently than another. The final grade for the course will be determined in the following way:

Term 1 25%

Term 2 25%

Term 3 25%

Term 4 25%

Assignments, instructions, resources, and due dates will all be published on Google Classroom throughout the year. This will be a major communication tool between myself and students/parents. 

I encourage all parents to login to Google Classroom with their child on a REGULAR BASIS for information regarding classes.
