Create a safe space for Black students to come together and recharge; intentionally making this safe space accessible to all Black students through regular community meetings, informal mentorship, programming, and community-building activities.
Hold successful programs that center Black students & the surrounding Black community, and encourage a strong sense of community among Black students.
To do collaborative work with other student organizations and affinity groups.
Have efficient meetings biweekly that meet and gauge the needs of the membership as individuals and as a community, by addressing important issues on campus and in society at large.
Participate actively in the surrounding community and in important activism events that directly affect our membership; advocate for Black students without burnout or losing sight of goals.
Provide membership with beneficial information that will support them academically and in their future career goals by way of strengthening Alumni, Campus Administration, and the surrounding community relations.
Be committed to supporting the wellness of each other, but not in the substitute of what the institution must (by the very nature of accepting and boosting about their Black student population) do to support the mental health of Black students.
