Hello Monarchs!
Welcome to The Den's virtual Wellness Center. Mr. Cahue and Ms. Bustamante are your Student Wellness Specialists. Mrs. Infante is our Wellness Center Guidance Tech. The Den's primary goal is to provide a safe space to express, share, emote your feelings or concerns and find resources to support your mental health needs.. We, along with our Wellness Peers promote mental health awareness and provide support to our students.In order to provide our students with additional access to our SWS, Mr. Cahue and Ms. Bustamante both have Calendly accounts where students can schedule their own appointments to see them.
Students, parents and teachers have access to resources on our webpage 24/7. Remember, we are here for you!
Students:
SWS are available to meet with you in person. If you are needing support or just want to talk to someone; you can come to the Den and meet with a Student Wellness Specialist (SWS); you can set up an appointment with an SWS using our Calendly accounts; or you can complete the SWS Referral Form and we will reach out to you within 24-48 hrs. All of your teachers should have a link to the SWS Referral Form as well. You must be logged into your OUHSD email account to use the form. If you need immediate support during after school hours, click on the 24/7 help and support tab at the top of the page. There you will find multiple community agencies that provide 24 hour 7 days a week support for youth. You can access them via text, chat, or phone and all communication is anonymous and confidential.
Parents:
On the website you will find additional community resources and mental health resources. Student mental health is available during the school day and includes calming area, peer support, one-on-one counseling sessions, group counseling sessions .
If a student is in need of social/emotional support, please submit this form. We will reach out to them within 24-48 hrs. If students are in need of immediate social emotional support or need a place to reset during school hours, please come to The Den, RCHS' Wellness Center. Form can only be used with an OUHSD email account.
