Hello Jackets, we are Mrs. Isaac and Mrs. Almstrom and we are the Student Wellness Specialists at Oxnard High School. Our job is to help support your overall wellness, and this website is here for you so that you can find tools and strategies for managing your emotions and feelings and have access to your mental health support 24/7.

As we adjust to returning to on campus learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic, We want to assure you that We continue to dedicate our time to serving and supporting you. Please reach out if you would like to schedule a time to meet.

Please know that we are operating in uncharted territory right now that nobody could have possible imagined or prepared for. I want you to know that your feelings are valid, no matter what they are. You might feel scared, confused, overwhelmed, angry, alone, grateful, or completely calm. You might feel many things at once, like being upset that an event was cancelled, but happy that you can wear pajamas all day. Your feelings are normal; the situation is not. Don't forget to breathe.
