This course will incorporate college-level algebra and trigonometry to prepare students for the study of calculus. In this course, graphing calculator technology will be used to enhance and support the mathematics concepts. Students focus on the use of technology, modeling, and problem-solving. Students use a variety of techniques to solve problems graphically, numerically, and algebraically and to translate between these solution types. Students practice verbal and nonverbal communication skills to explain the math concepts analytically, graphically, and algebraically using evidence from mathematics.
