I feel my best when I do all my homework and I have free time because having free time feels good when you know that you already did your homework.
I want to improve at reading because I want to get better at understanding new and more complex words and plan to do so by reading more often and reaching my AR goal.
A dream I have for the future is to become an engineer so that I could make a lot of money so I could buy my family a luxurious house.
This process of creating a game made us feel puzzled when we were coding to make our character jump up through the platform and be able to land on top of the platform. It was also, confusing when we were coding the scrolling background. With the help of some videos, we made it happen. When we finished our game, we felt proud because we had not really made a game up that moment, that has a losing condition, an incentive, and a character customization. We also we got a feel of what it takes to create a game on scratch.
I felt more experienced and a better understanding of how to code about the progression of my coding abilities. For example in racing game, most of the code was the move steps block and repeat blocks while in launcher game I learned my first set broadcast block which was a new concept to me. The quest game was the most rewarding to code because it was interesting how the character interacts with the different entrances and how it uses the broadcast block to hide all entrances after it has touched an entrance. Lastly, I am proud that I am learning and gaining experience to code a video game after looking back at the process and products such as knowing what setting broadcast means and what variables are because it gives me more experience and exposes me to computer science which can give me another job option in the future.
Our final design was a success. I know this because our drawing hit 3 of the the 3 criteria. One example is part placement because every piece was put together correctly. Another example is size criteria because our Tinkercad design was under the max volume due to adding holes to the design. Lastly the container in our Tinkercad design was big enough to fit a sponge and the egg. In this challenge we are most proud of how our parachute helped out a lot because instead of the design falling straight down fast the parachute slowed down the fall a lot.
