I feel my best when I film garbage trucks because it’s a passion I’ve had for a long time.
I want to improve my computer skills and plan to do so by practicing 3 days a week.
A dream I have for the future is 3D printing garbage trucks so that I can remember the City of Oxnard Environmental Service’s historic fleet.
This process of creating a game made us feel puzzled when we were coding to make our character jump up through the platform and be able to land on top of the platform. It was also, confusing when we were coding the scrolling background. With the help of some videos, we made it happen. When we finished our game, we felt proud because we had not really made a game up that moment, that has a losing condition, an incentive, and a character customization. We also we got a feel of what it takes to create a game on scratch.
Being able to code your own video games was great. Throughout time, my coding abilities increased game by game. Everything from racing game to cave surfing game felt like a lot of coding. When I first started with racing game, coding felt quite challenging since it felt new to me. All the way to cave surfing had me feeling like I can code anything that comes to my mind. The most rewarding game coding was the Launcher Game because I was able to manage to make it playable on both touchscreen and keyboard. The add-ons add more detail and a more funtastic experience. That’s something I have to be proud of after looking back.
Our final design was a success. The design met all the 3 success criteria. I believe our final design was a success because the size criteria fitted pretty tightly but, the egg was perfectly mounted on the 3D print. Another thing that made it successful was it had a bit of room to fit napkins to soften the landing. Although the part placement wasn't the best, the design successfully was completed.
