The excitement continued as the team traveled to Walt Disney World Resort to compete in the national game day competition. Going up against teams from all over the country, Owsley County earned an impressive 13th-place finish. They showed great teamwork, school spirit, and pride while representing their school and community on the national stage. OCHS Varsity Cheer also brought home the 56th District Runner-Up in the In-Game Cheer Competition!
The Lady Owls Basketball team played Powell Co in the first round. They won 60-37 and advanced to the next round. Onto the Championship round, they played Estill County and lost 49-36, but we are still very proud of our Lady Owls! The Owsley County Boys Basketball team played Lee Co in the first round and lost to the Lee County Bobcats 62-58. We are very proud of our Owls win, lose, or draw.
