Gifted and Talented Students

Autum Mckelvey

9th Grade

After school, Autum enjoys playing the piano and working on her vocals, and her favorite musical artist is Sabrina Carpenter. Her favorite book is The Diary of Anne Frank. Autum's favorite sports team is the Florida State Seminoles. In school, her favorite subject is art.

Erick McIntosh

8th Grade

Erick enjoys riding and has a wide range of interests including fishing, Boy Scouts, running, sports, lifting, and fixing small engines. His favorite music artist is Pierce the Veil, and he recommends the TV series Money Heist. Like George, his favorite subject in school is science, and he stays active with many outdoor and hands-on activities.

 Delaney Smith

 10th Grade

Outside of school, Delaney has an interest of showing horses. Her favorite musical artist is Ella Langley. Her favorite sports team is UCONN women's basketball, and her favorite movie/book is Little House on The Prairie. In school, her favorite subject is math.

Jinger Marshall

8th grade 

Jinger is an 8th grader. She enjoys drawing and writing stories, along with chatting and playing Minecraft with friends. Her favorite music artist is Metallica, and she cheers for the Nashville Predators. She recommends The Goofy Movie, and her favorite subject in school is Art.

George Perez

8th grade 

 George is an 8th grader. He enjoys playing basketball outside of school and is a big fan of Linkin Park. His favorite sports team is the Golden State Warriors, and he recommends reading The Bible. Science is his favorite subject, and he believes Stephen Curry is the GOAT.

Madi Cornett 

7th grade 

Madi is in 7th grade and she likes to play basketball outside of school. Madi doesn't have a specific favorite music artist. "We Were Liars" is her favorite movie/book. She doesn't have a favorite sports team, but her favorite subject in school is science. 

Bryson Bowling

8th grade

Bryson is in 8th grade. He loves the Kentucky Wildcats and listening to Drake. He recommends reading The Outsiders.

Bentley Creech 

7th grade 

Bentley is in 7th grade. He likes gaming & going to friends' houses. Bentley's favorite music artist is Houston Westbrook or Gavin Adcock. His favorite sports team in the NBA is the Spurs. A movie Bentley would recommend is The Outsiders. His favorite subject in school is science. Bentley LOVES watching movies & shows. 

Maddlynn Abner 

7th grade

Maddlynn is in 7th grade. She likes to draw, play volleyball, and hang out with friends in her free time. Maddlynn's favorite music artist is The Weekend. Her favorite sports team is the Kentucky Wildcats volleyball team. "Twilight" is a movie/book she would recommend. Maddlynn's favorite subject in school is History/Social Studies.  She also likes music, doom scrolling, and playing volleyball. 

Peyton Marcum

7th Grade 

Peyton participates in cheer, and her favorite musical artist is Ella Langley. A book series that Peyton recommends The Inhertience Games, and in school Peyton's favortie subject is science.

Allyson Logsdon

6th grade 

Allyson likes to go riding & participates in gymnastics outside of school. Katy Perry & Ed Sheeran are currently her favorite music artists. Allyson loves gymnastics, and she recommends the movie "Twilight". Her favorite subject in school is art. Allyson says, "Do good, you can do this." 

Daniel Burns

6th Grade

Daniel likes watching documentaries in his free time. His favorite music artist is Imagine Dragons. He enjoys sports, his favorite team being the New York Yankees. He recommends others to watch the movie "Swiss Family Robinson".

Justin Shouse 

6th Grade

Justin Shouse enjoys woodworking and collecting antiques and old military memorabilia in his free time. He likes music artists such as My Chemical Romance, Mario Makes Music, and BoyWithUke. He enjoys hockey but does not have a favorite team. He would recommend Five Nights at Freddy’s to others. His favorite subject in school is History/Social Studies. He is part of the Academics Gifted Program and the middle school band.

Weston Hoskins enjoys playing baseball and watching his favorite team, the World Series Champion Dodgers. His favorite book is The Titanic, and his favorite school subject is English/ Language Arts.

Jacob Hisel

6th Grade

Jacob enjoys sleeping, playing games, and watching YouTube. Jacob's favorite music artist is MRC Mario.  Jacob's favorite subject is science. 

Mila Neece

6th Grade

Outside of school Mila does art, and her favorite Musical artist is Olivia Rodrigo. The Los Angeles Lakers is her favorite sports team, and her favorite subject in school is science.

Lainah Mayes

10th Grade 

Lainah enjoys drawing. Her favorite musical artist is Luke Combs, and her favorite sports team is the Kentucky Wildcats. She recommends that people watch the movie "Grown Ups" and her favorite subject in school is math.

Sophia McIntosh

10th Grade

After school, Sophia enjoys reading and crocheting. She likes listening to Noah Kahan. At school, her favorite subject is math, and her favorite book/movie is It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover.
