Mr. Czaja, our Film Teacher, has found that Grid View in Google Slides provides an effective way of monitoring and guiding collaborative projects. After creating a Google Slides presentation, Mr. Czaja assigned it to his film class, allowing every student to have edit access to the presentation. This Google Slides presentation became the central project space where all of his students could participate.

The familiar default view of a Google Slides presentation is called "Filmstrip View." By clicking on an icon in the lower left corner of Slides, you can convert the presentation to "Grid View." Further, by resizing the screen view (Command+Minus), you can zoom out and project the work of the entire class on a SMART Panel, providing a handy overview of the progress of the joint project. A comment control on the toolbar enables you to provide detailed feedback to individual students/groups.
