May 2025
This month, we are focusing on the pillar of Perseverance—the ability to keep trying even when things get hard. Perseverance helps students build confidence, learn from mistakes, and achieve their goals over time. At school, students show perseverance by continuing to work on challenging tasks, asking for help when needed, and not giving up even if something is difficult.
Working Through Challenges- Stay calm and keep working through challenging homework or tasks instead of giving up.
Practice asking for help - Ask for help from family members when something feels too difficult.
Breaks - Take short breaks to rest and then return to the task with a fresh mindset.
Goal Setting - Develop small achievable goals and practice working through that goal by having a plan.
Celebrating Achievements - It is important to celebrate small and big wins. Give students the opportunity to enjoy anything that they have achieved.
