Dear OWN 3 Families,
As we step into the new year and reflect on the possibilities ahead, I am filled with gratitude for our school community’s shared commitment to growth and excellence. January brings with it not only a fresh start but also an opportunity to focus on our Pillar of Truth.
Truth is a foundation for trust, learning, and meaningful relationships. It calls on us to be honest in our words, actions, and reflections. This month, we are emphasizing the importance of speaking truthfully, standing up for what is right, and seeking understanding through curiosity and openness.
In our classrooms, teachers are guiding students to explore truth by asking thoughtful questions, critically analyzing information, and being authentic in their learning. We are also encouraging our students to reflect on how they can demonstrate truth in their everyday choices—whether it’s owning up to a mistake, being truthful with peers, or pursuing knowledge with integrity.
January is a wonderful time to practice truthfulness, as we set intentions for the year ahead. By embracing truth, we can build deeper connections with one another and strengthen the trust that makes our school community so special.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we can inspire our students to live out the value of truth in ways that will positively impact their learning and their lives.
Wishing you and your families a year filled with truth, growth, and new possibilities!
With Gratitude,
Principal Pryor
