The Ocean View Police Department is committed to working in partnership with the community, to improve the quality of life in the Town of Ocean View. The department serves the people of Ocean View by fulfilling its obligations to the community in a manner consistent with the Law Enforcement Officer Code of Ethics. The Department protects the constitutionally guaranteed right of every person within its jurisdiction to be secure in their person and property, and to live in peace. This is accomplished through the effective and efficient utilization of all available personnel and resources. The Department recognizes the value and importance of its employees, and will ensure that all employees are treated equitably and fairly. The Department is committed to providing its members with the quality of leadership training and equipment necessary to perform its mission.
