We know starting the journey toward recovery or getting involved in a new organization can raise a lot of questions. Here are answers to some of the most common things people ask about Overflow Recovery Support Services, Inc.
Overflow is a peer-led, community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by addiction, grief, and life transitions. We offer recovery meetings, education, transportation assistance, and community wellness opportunities throughout Sequoyah County and the surrounding areas.
Peer-led means that many of our programs and support opportunities are guided by people with lived experience in recovery, loss, or mental health challenges. We believe healing is most powerful when people walk the journey together with understanding and compassion.
We currently host or collaborate on a variety of support-based gatherings such as NA and Al-Anon meetings, grief support groups, and educational workshops. We also partner with local providers and organizations, including Cherokee Nation and area mental health professionals, to offer wellness and cultural classes.
We’re always looking for compassionate people to help us make a difference! Visit our Join Us page to fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up Form, and we’ll get in touch about opportunities that fit your interests and availability.
