Dr. Rachelle Bramlage-Schomburg has been dedicated to serving students in educational settings for the past 19 years. Her journey began as an Instructional Assistant, during which time she pursued her Master’s degree in Teaching. Following her passion for education, Rachelle transitioned to a role as a middle school science and math teacher, where she taught for 8 years and also served as a soccer coach.
Driven by a deep desire to support and collaborate with others, Rachelle moved into educational administration, serving as an Assistant Principal at a high school and later as the Director of Secondary Education in Bullitt County. Along the way, she earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, further solidifying her commitment to student-centered education and leadership development. Rachelle also serves as a mentor for Kentucky Women in Education Leadership (KWEL), helping to guide and inspire the next generation of female educational leaders.
On July 1, 2024, Rachelle joined OVEC as the Leadership Success Consultant, where she continues her commitment to education by supporting central office administrators, building-level administrators, and aspiring leaders.
Eddie Oakley brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student-centered leadership in his role as a Leadership Success Consultant. Having served in various capacities across six different school districts— including as a teacher, coach, school administrator, district administrator, and Transportation Director—Eddie’s approach is guided by a "kids first" philosophy.
Throughout his diverse career, Eddie has consistently demonstrated a passion for nurturing educational environments where students can thrive. His extensive background provides him with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by both educators and administrators. Eddie’s leadership is characterized by his ability to inspire others, foster collaboration, and implement strategies that prioritize student success more than anything else.
With 42-year of experience, Eddie now channels his experience into guiding schools and districts within the OVEC Region, supporting administrators, and teachers alike. His goal is to empower educators to create lasting, positive impacts in their communities, ensuring every decision and initiative is focused on the best interests of the students.
