Mukarrama's Science Hub

I am M.M.F. Mukarrama, currently serving as a Physics Teacher at Zahira College, Dhargatown, where I teach Advanced Level Physics, mentor students in practicals, and support them in building problem-solving skills. Previously, I worked for 16 years at Naleem Hajiyar Ladies’ College, Beruwala, teaching Science (Grades 6–O/L) and Physics (A/L) under both the Tamil and English mediums of instruction.

With a B.Sc. (Hons) from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and a Postgraduate Diploma in Bilingual Education from the Open University of Sri Lanka, I am passionate about creating interactive, student-centred classrooms that encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. My journey in bilingual education and action research inspired me to innovate, including the design of a web-based lesson platform to make learning more engaging and teacher-friendly.
