Montera Student Council Goals and Objectives
The goals of the student council are to promote school spirit, serve the school community, model good citizenship, impact decisions affecting school issues, and maintain a positive school climate.
What is Student Council?
"Student Council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults. The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. How do I apply to be on Student Council?
You can get an application from Mx. J in P14, Dr. Emrick in P13, or print the one below. Applications are due to Mx. J by September 15th.

Bootcamp: Tuesday, September 20th & Thursday, September 22nd
Post Campaign Posters: starting Wednesday, September 21st
Speeches Due: Friday, September 30th
Polls Open: Tuesday, October 4th
Poster Removal: Wednesday October 5th
Advisory Election results due: Thursday, October 6th
Positions Announced: Friday, October 7th
