Our class objectives:

In this class we will look at the herstory/history of different communities that have been historically oppressed and resisting the colonial project.

We will practice speaking, listening, writing, and reading by answering these questions:

1. How does our identity (race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, language and more) influences our life?

2. What is the relationship between identity and power?

3. What can we learn from our own knowledge, roots, and memory?
