Each week in the summer, the Boys & Girls Club provides instruction in music, technology (programming, digital art & music, stop motion animation), dance, art, gardening, field trips, cooking, sports/athletics, and more. Your child MUST be a current member to participate in their Summer Vacation program. If your child is not a current member, click HERE to complete the full membership application.

Kennedy Summer Day Program is offered 8 weeks in the summer (4 sessions-2 weeks/session).
Open to students entering ages 5-14 (125 max participants.)
Activities include swimming, structured free play, playground and physical activity periods, arts and crafts, STEAM activities, and more!

Financial aid – Tabor distributes camp session scholarships directly to organizations, not directly to to individuals. Students who have already received a scholarship are not eligible again so other students may participate.
The following is a complete list of sessions Tabor Academy offers and families may sign up for any of these weeks. However, OSS has been awarded a limited number of scholarship spots available to students currently in grades 5 & 6. Please contact Ms. Sanders if interested. You will need to work with her on camp registration

Community Boating Center (CBC)
✅ (The OSS @ CBC session will run from June 15-17. That session (only) is free of charge to OSS families. If you are interested in your student participating in other CBC sessions throughout the summer, please apply for a scholarship through the CBC website.)

Summer Youth Sailing (ages 7-17)
This program is for students who are both new to sailing and those who have a few summers of sailing experience. The goals are to have fun on the water and to learn and/or build upon the basics of sailing. Students have the opportunity to sail with an instructor and small group or to sail in their own boat with an instructor-driven safety boat alongside.

Round the Bend (RTB) Farm

Round the Bend Farm is offering a week-long Farm Camp that will take place on its beautiful, working farm in South Dartmouth, MA. Campers will participate in and learn about the farm systems, methods, and tools RTB uses to tend to their gardens and care for farm animals.

ZooCrew for ages 4-12 has one week long sessions throughout the summer. The programs run for a full day or half day. Check the website for camp descriptions – there are programs for 10-12 year olds on the dates below. Registration opens March 1, 2026 and will fill quickly.

Camp Invention

Camp Invention is a summer day camp filled with fun, hands-on STEM adventures led by qualified local educators, designed to spark creativity, build confidence and ignite a lifelong love for learning. Held at Dartmouth High School, 555 Bakerville Road, Dartmouth, MA, this is a camp for students entering grades K-6 (cost is $310/wk). There are also Leaders in Training spots for students entering grades 7-9 ($210/wk).

Sea Lab is an educational program serving New Bedford students in grades 4–9 interested in studying marine and aquatic environments. In addition to classroom exercises, students participate in field studies conducted along the Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastlines. Practical outdoor skills, such as swimming, sailing, and snorkeling are also an integral part of the summer Sea Lab experience.

Summer program descriptions – link
Bristol Aggie is hosting summer programs for rising 5th-8th graders. Summer camp offerings are Monday-Thursday the weeks of July 13th-16th and July 20-23rd. Morning courses run from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, and afternoon sessions run from 12:30-3:30. If a student attends both an am and pm session, they can have lunch (must bring their own) in the Bristol Aggie cafeteria in between programs. Each session is $175 per week unless marked otherwise.
Registration will be via Eventbrite on Monday, March 16th at 6 pm. Spots fill up quickly and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
