HIP (Healthy Incentives Program) is a cash back program that you are automatically enrolled in if you have SNAP benefits.
Where can you Find the HIP Benefits Application?
HIP does not necessarily have an application. But if you are interested in this program you can apply for SNAP Benefits and be automatically enrolled in the HIP program.
HIP gives money back on your EBT card (Electronic Benefits Transfer) when you buy healthy foods like fruits and vegetables from participating farm stands, farmers markets, and mobile markets.
HIP benefits are unusable at traditional grocery stores and convenience stores like Stop & Shop and 7-11. This program is specifically made for purchasing healthy foods at local farm stands, farmers markets and mobile markets.
