Our School Values

Our School Aims 

 · To enable each child to develop spiritually in his/her knowledge of the Catholic faith.

 · To work closely with the Parish of Our Lady & St Mark’s supporting one another in nurturing the gospel values and embracing the Christian ethos as well as preparing our children to receive the Sacraments.

 · To develop a school environment, where all members of the school community feel valued and respected, with an  enterprising attitude, resilience and self-reliance.

· To provide a high quality teaching and learning environment where both staff and pupils have enthusiasm for learning and a determination to reach high standards of achievement for themselves and become successful learners across the curriculum.

 · To provide our children with experiences, which give them opportunities to learn about  the world and Scotland's place in it, cultures and environmental, scientific and technological issues, which will enable them to develop informed ethical views of complex issues and enable them to be responsible citizens.

 ·To encourage staff and pupils to have self-respect, a sense of physical, mental and emotional well-being and to have secure values and beliefs. This will develop confident individuals.

 · To plan, monitor and evaluate each aspect of school life on a regular basis to ensure that children are being offered the best teaching and learning experience.

 · To promote healthy and active living and embrace a healthy and active lifestyle

 · To accept and respect the uniqueness of the individual.
