WEST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL FIREWORKS DISPLAY

Come and join us at Levengrove Park on Thursday 5th November for the West Dunbartonshire Council Fireworks Display!

It all starts at 7pm with the fireworks display at 7.30pm. You'll be able to enjoy hot food and drinks and a children's funfair too! Parking is limited near the event so visitors are encouraged to utlise publuc transport. Any drivers must adhere to the parking restrictions in place in the area so please plan your journey in advance.

Lomond Radio will be there too bringing you great music before and after the fireworks.

So that's Thursday 5th November at Levengrove Park for the Fireworks Display between 7pm and 9pm. See you there!

VALE OF LEVEN CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON - SATURDAY 21st NOVEMBER

The Christmas Lights Switch On in the Vale of Leven takes place on Saturday 21st November. It all starts at 12 noon and there will be plenty of entertainment throughout the day. And the big switch on takes place at 4.30pm! Dumbarton & District Pipe Band will kick off the fun and we'll have entertainment from Singergie Choir, Singer Station, Leah Muir, Chirsty Harkins and much more!

Come and enjoy the festivities on Saturday 21st November from 12 noon in the Vale of Leven.

LOCH LOMOND SHORES CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL - SATURDAY 5th AND SUNDAY 6th DECEMBER

Join us at Loch Lomond Shores on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December for the Christmas Festival! You'll be able to enjoy the Christmas Market and pick up some unique gifts, street food and live entertainment.

We'll be there with the festival stage and live music throughout both days including Rosie Green, Singer Station, Matthew Gibb, Sophie Ramsay, Sam Baird and much more! A great day out for all the family.

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December, 10am until 5pm.

LOMOND LOOKBACK WITH CHARLIE MAC
Join Charlie Mac every Thursday between 6pm and 8pm for two golden hours, two golden years.  Charlie will give you the hits, he'll give you the headlines, all you have to do is give him the year. In each hour you'll have the Telly Theme Teaser (a theme tune from a TV show which launched in that year) and a Movie Moment (a clip from a big box office hit) to help you along as well as the top 20 from that week.

Claire Mulvey wants to hear from you and make you the star of the Sunday Singalong! Have you got a song stuck in your head.... but you're definitely singing it wrong?

Every Sunday from 6pm on Lomond Radio, The Sunday Singalong brings you Sing It Wrong - the feature celebrating the funniest, daftest and most convincing misheard lyrics.

If you've ever belted out the wrong words with full confidence, send them in! Tell us the lyric you misheard and the story behind it, or even better.... send a voice note of you singing it wrong to 0743 50 888 50 starting your message with SING IT WRONG.

And your lyrical disasters could be featured on The Sunday Singalong!

Our sister station, Lomond Country, is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help produce and present our country music shows. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about country music and interested in radio broadcasting, whether you have previous experience or are completely new to it.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about country music, interested in presenting or producing radio shows, reliable, friendly, and eager to learn and keen to be part of a growing community station!

No previous radio experience is needed as full training and support will be provided. You’ll gain hands-on experience in broadcasting, learn new skills, meet like-minded people, and help bring great country music to our listeners.
