Starting School in Lennox

First Day:

P1 Pupils arrive at 9.15am. Teachers and buddies will meet children at the front door and escort them to the classroom. Parents/carers are welcome to come in and collect children from class at 2:45pm. Photographs etc. can be taken then.

P2 - P7 Pupils arrive at 9am and head to the playground and line up outside their new classrooms.

2nd School Day onwards : All children start at 9am. Staff supervision will begin in the playground at 8.50am.

Regular Times

Start: 9am

Break: 10.30 am—10.45am

Lunch: 12.15 pm— 1pm

End: 3pm

If your child is unwell we please ask that you let the School Office know before 9:30am.

Our Formal school uniform is:

Grey Trousers / Shorts /
Grey Skirts/Pinafore or Tartan Pinafore
White Shirt and tie
White Polo Shirt
Purple jumper or cardigan

Some pupils may be eligible for a clothing grant. Parents can ask at the school office or online on the West Dunbartonshire Council website.

We ask that all items of uniform be clearly marked/labelled with your child’s name and class to ensure that is does not get lost.

Children are permitted to wear their gym kit to school on gym days.

School Lunches

P1-5 children are entitled to free school lunches. If your child is in P6-7 and you think you are entitled to free lunches for your child please ask in the School Office or contact West Dunbartonshire Council. P6-7 lunches are paid using our Parent Pay system and a letter explaining, along with a password, will be issued when your child begins school.
