Hello students and families,
Welcome to my website! I am the school counselor, Mrs. Eberenz. I work with all of our preschool-2nd grade students to help promote social, emotional, academic and career readiness skills.
In addition to small group and individual counseling, I also provide weekly SEL lessons in grades K-2. I have a variety of additional duties related to bullying prevention, homelessness assistance, community engagement, and academic support for students with or without disabilities; please take a look at the full scope of my role on the Student Support Services page above.

About me...
My education started right here at the Waretown schools! After graduating from Southern Regional High School, I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. I then completed a Master's Degree in Counseling at Kean University. I have been a certified preK-12 School Counselor in New Jersey since 2012.
During and after graduate school, I worked in higher education and in community mental health for five years. I returned to Waretown Elementary in January 2015-- this time to work as the school counselor! In my current role, I work with students and families to promote students’ personal, social and academic development, and career readiness skills. I love working with your children every day!
Fun Facts...
I am your neighbor! I reside here in Waretown with my husband Dan, our daughters LeAnne and Abigail, and our rescue dog, Mia. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, and soaking up lots of sunshine.
