WALT:
describe probability using specific language
investigate experimental probability
investigate theoretical probability
draw probability trees and two way tables
We are going to continue with the fractions work in the booklet you have started in. However you will also do some of the problem solving with the class.
This work will be done on your own when you are not doing problem solving in a group. Save your Transum work as a screen shot in your Maths folder. Here is a presentation to help you with some of this work.

Create a google doc, drawing or presentation which explains your thinking around the problem you looked at last week. This needs to be saved in your Maths folder and then posted onto your blog.
Problem: Theo has a fundraising idea for Rahui Sportsclub. He will get punters to pay $2.00 to roll 2 dice. If they roll a double 1,2,3,4,5,6 they will double their money. If they don’t his cause is $2.00 richer.
Will his idea be profitable and what might he need to consider?
You must justify your thinking through showing how you worked this out..
