This site is under construction and will change as we progress through our project.
Our big question:
Reflecting on our learning is central to the whole process - it is how we learn to self - assess, monitor and improve our own learning. It is where we share our thinking and make meaning of our proecess (what we are doing) and content (information).
Reflections help us to connect and personalize our own learning. It can be a challenge to be open and honest about our own learning, but this is where those "aha" moments, great ideas, solutions to problems and even better questions come from.
Our Deep Learning Project Process will follow these steps from the 12:00 point "Getting Ready" clockwise to the "Evaluate" step.
Notice "reflecting on the process" is central to the whole process as along the way we will be frequently self- managing, self - assessing and reflecting on our process to meet our group goals. Students will be blogging weekly about their progress - ups, downs and everything in between. It is all learning!
Students and Teachers will share their learning in this process on their blogs. Reminder - when posting and commenting about our learning online - be cybersmart.

NPDL Cross Curricular Competencies: These are the competencies our year 9 Deep Learning Project will be focusing on. Students will be assessing themselves based on the descriptors in the rubrics below. Click on the image to check them out.
This tracker will guide you through your project. It can be downloaded and stored digitally or you can ask your teacher for a paper copy. Your teacher will check off each stage as you have completed it.
