Learning Environments

The learning environment has two essential and interrelated aspects:

• A culture of learning that unleashes the potential of adults and students alike;

• The design of physical and virtual space that optimizes the acquisition of the competencies.

We may not be able to do a lot about our classrooms and buildings, but we can use them imaginatively. We can take advantage of opportunities for moving outside our classrooms and kura. We can definitely foster a learning culture, and the online environment (virtual space) is ours to create, explore and define.
