In term 1, we will be learning about whakapapa. We will be talking about pepeha, as well as learning about natural and human history to know where we come from. You can check out some of this on the Tikanga-ā-iwi page.

Whatungarongaro te tangata, toitū te whenua.

In term 2 we are diving deep into our value of kaitiakitanga. We will be looking at ways we can protect our environment at kura and beyond. You can see some of this mahi on the Pūtaiao page.

He aroha whakatō, he aroha puta mai.

In term 3, our kaupapa matua is manaakitanga and we will focus on how we can show kindness to others. You will find some of the activities that we do on our Hauora page.

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.

In term 4 we are focusing on our value of whanaungatanga. We will look at relationships in the natural world, and how everything is connected. You can find out more on the Pūtaiao page.
