Queer Mentors

Queer Mentors is a program that aims to help incoming freshmen and transfer students make connections with upperclassmen at Oswego, and learn about the resources available to them, both locally and through campus. This year, all freshmen, sophomores, and transfer students are eligible to be mentees. Sophomores may be either mentees or mentors, but not both (please only fill out one form). All juniors and seniors are eligible to be mentors. All mentors must attend a short training session run by QTOC e-board at the start of the semester. If you have any questions, please send us an email at queertransoutreach@oswego.edu

Please check back at the beginning of the Fall 2022 semester for access to the sign-up forms!

COVID-19 Note:

If mentors and mentees decide to meet in person, all Oswego Forward and local/state COVID guidelines must be followed. If there are any concerns about meeting in person with your mentor/mentee, we recommend to switch to an online meeting space.
