Interests and Hobbies: I enjoy working with my hands, fixing furniture or appliances, patching siding, or building a rock patio. If I am able to create and be creative I am happy. I am building a fixture that will hold a rotary tool horizontal so it can used like a grinding or buffing wheel. I am learning to program in python so I can make robots.

Alissa Marie Chavez is an American inventor and entrepreneur. She was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico by her single mother. She is known for her invention "Hot Seat", an alarm for child car seats being left occupied. The alarm would alert the parent of the child inside of the vehicle through a key FOB. She invented this alarm system when she was 14 years old. She presented the idea at a science fair and later refined the idea and patented it. She is the founder and CEO of the company Assila.
