Students will research Latin American writers, leaders and painters.Students will read and discuss different landmarks in South America .Students will be introduced to greeting and introductions in Spanish.We will write dialogues and work on introducing ourselves in Spanish.Students will work on telling time in Spanish.Students will learn how to ask and answer to what time it is in Spanish.

November:Students will finish working on telling time in Spanish.Students will work on introducing themselves describing their likes and dislikes.We will learn how to talk about who we are and where we are from in Spanish.
December:Students will work on conjugating ar verbs.They will focus on talking about what they do?Students will be introduced to class supplies. We will practice vocabulary to talk about what we need for school.Students will create an interactive classroom and indicate all the items we learned. Labeling in both languages each item.
January:Students will begin there work on er and ir verbs.Students will work on indefinite and definite articles.We will use adjectives in Spanish to describe ourselves and other people.We will work on introducing food vocabulary in Spanish.They will practice saying when they eat different foods and the frequency.They will create a restaurant menu for a Spanish restaurant.

Students will continue working on speaking and writing in Spanish. We will continue exploring Spanish dishes and traditions. March:Students will work on Chapter 4 from Realidades 1.They will analyze the use of the near future in Spanish.They will revisit the verb Ir and its uses, Students will work on their near future poster in class.We will continue our work on their online vocab slideshow.
April Students will be introduced to Chapter 5a and 5b.Students will work on the uses of the verb Tener.We will focus on family members vocab and expressing obligation in Spanish.
