Q1-
September:Students will complete all about me worksheet with basic information about them./Los estudiantes van a completar un formulario describiendo todo lo que les gusta y no les gusta-para conocernos mejor.
Students will be working on exploring Spanish culture and celebrating Hispanic heritage month.Students will pick first book for book clubs. They will become independent readers in Spanish.
Q2-
Students will work in their book clubs using a deep study of character. Students will recognize details which give a lot of information about a character, especially about their traits.
Q3-
Deep Study of Character- Students will share their growth as a thinker, writer, and reader during this unit.Characteristics and Description of characters. We will start book club #2 at the end of January and continue working on book 2 in February. We will focus on social pressure and how settings affect our characters.
March-April Book Club Project- Literary Essay.
Q4-Students will review for final exam.
