LaToya Langley, Principal and the other Administrators and NYGEAR UP staff greeted students and families  to the freshman barbeque/kickoff event. It was a meet and greet and an opportunity to  learn more about Ossining High School, NYGEAR Up and all both have to offer.

Freshman were greeted on September 3rd to Ossining High School.  They spent the morning with CoolSpeak Speakers who spoke about self-motivation, persistence, gratitude, determination, empowerment and goal setting. LaToya Langley, Principal hosted an assembly and introduced students to their Assistant Principals, School Counselors, Psychologists and other administrative support staff along with NYGEAR UP personnel.  They learned even more about courses, clubs, scheduling and collected their identification for signing in.  It was the start of an exciting year.
