Unit 3 expands on our previous two units. Students will be given an opportunity to dive into a fiction novel of their choice and deeply study the way their character evolves and unfolds over the course of the book. We will be focusing on how pressures affect the way characters react to situations and whether those reactions fit with the way they usually behave. By the end of the unit, students should be able to identify and explain the traits and emotions characters display and how outside pressures can impact a character's emotions and actions.
Extra help is offered after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Email me at MeFerraro@ossiningufsd.org or ask to chat with me during class to set up an appointment! :-)
