STEM 2:  2021-2022 Capstone Projects

Custom Robot and Programming Challenge:  Students through the year have learned about mechanics, programming, and various sensor technology.  For this culminating project students were given an obstacle course to complete.  Students used CAD to design their custom robots, build their robots and then program them to operate autonomously and using a controller.

3D Print Challenge:  Students were given a challenge to take their CAD and 3D printing skills to the next level.

1. 1. Create the perfect 3D print using various calibration methods

   2. Duplicate a piece of wood train track using CAD and the 3D printer

   3. Create their own custom “crazy” piece of wood track

Graphic Design Challenge:  Students took their design skills to the next level.  Learning Inkscape, students learned new techniques in design to be able to be used in our Glowforge Laser Cutter and Cricut.
