Exploring and learning how to use our classroom tools!

 Monday August 26th, we read the story Scissors on Strike. Then we talked about how we treat our scissors and how we can be safe with our scissors.  Here we are practicing "thumbs up, elbows up" as we cut wavy and zigzag lines. 

On Thursday August 29th we read the story  Glues on Strike.  Again, we talked about how to treat our glue.  We brought out the scissors again and we cut strips of paper to make a school bus.
